The Yoicks Cup is intended as a vehicle to introduce strong foxhunters to the fun of "Maryland" timber racing. The "To qualify" section of the conditions for this race sets forth possible pathways by which aspirants can be assured that they are ready for the challenges of the My Lady's Manor racecourse.The specific conditions set forth here can and will be waived if the Stewards feel that the entry is possessed of sufficient competence to compete safely.

For the Yoicks Cup, as well as the Schapiro Memorial, the 8th and 13th jumps will be eliminated from the course.
